How to use it
- Sign in dark ink on plain white paper, then scan it or photograph it straight on in even light.
- Drop the image in. Black and white is selected, so the background is left out.
- Adjust the threshold until the strokes look like your signature and the paper texture is gone.
- Download the SVG.
A signature with no white box
In the black and white style only the ink is saved, so the signature has no background. Place it on a colored page, a PDF, a stamp or a website and it sits cleanly on top, at any size.
Getting a good result
Sign with a fresh dark pen, use a thicker tip than usual, and keep the paper flat. Crop tight around the signature. If thin strokes break, lower the threshold a little and lower Remove small specks.
